Leah Rose Fisher

Leah Rose Fisher is a New York City based singer, voice teacher, and performing artist and has been employing the Gill Mindful Voice Training tools for the past 8 years. She attended New York University where she graduated with a Masters in Vocal Performance in Classical Voice and an Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy receiving the 2013 NYU Vocal Pedagogy Award in recognition of outstanding achievement in vocal pedagogy. She is currently studying in the voice studio of Dr. Brian Gill. She received a B.A. in Music and a B.A. in French from Centenary College of Louisiana.

Leah has been actively teaching for a little over a decade. She has taught all ages through her private studio; college-aged students at New York University; children and youth at Performer’s Theatre Workshop in Maplewood, NJ; and varying ages through other small studios around the NYC area. Her students have been seen both on and off Broadway, in film and television, as well as singer/songwriters performing in NYC, Chicago, and the D.C. areas.

Leah is also an active performer and artist on stage, in opera, musical theatre, and choral settings; in film & television; and also, in the recording studio. Leah has been seen on stage in the NYC area, the Bay area in CA, and around the world performing on stage both as a solo and choral artist.

She has been active both in front of and behind the camera, and has also written music for film. Her music can be found online wherever music is sold or streamed.

In the recording studio, Leah is currently working on her upcoming album, set to release next year! She has also been blessed to sing backup vocals for some amazing artists, including Christian rap artist Harmini as well as classical Indian artist Chandrika Tandon, performing with her at the Kennedy Center in D.C.

She looks forward to more opportunities to teach, perform, collaborate, and to continue to make her own music.
